Jusoor (which means ‘bridges’ in Arabic) is an international NGO founded in 2011 with the mission of Investing in Syria’s Youth for a Better Tomorrow. This role will have the opportunity of working with Jusoor’s global team to learn and be an addition to Jusoor’s team of experts, by being a key member to the communications department to help drive the communications objectives and Jusoor’s mission forward. You will be responsible for building and enhancing Jusoor’s digital experiences, innovating with thought partnerships and marketing tactics to drive more traffic and awareness, and lead on Jusoor’s communications tools and platforms.


Required Skills and Experience

Required Qualifications 

Tech-savvy with the curiosity to learn and enhance the work in the digital tools to fuel the digital marketing efforts


Technical Skills

  • Google Drive tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites)

  • Guru in technology, internet navigation, and research

  • Google Analytics and tag manager

  • Landing pages and lead magnets

  • Webflow (Considered a plus but not required)


Experience Required

A minimum of two years of experience in the marketing field is required

Role Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


Content & Marketing Operations

  • Master Jusoor’s website CMS to create new pages, update the content, and post the blog posts with the technical SEO optimization

  • Upload Jusoor’s content to the digital platforms and webpages


Digital Tools & Platforms

  • Handle Jusoor’s digital tools and platforms, including setup new tools or features, integrating plugins and automation, and create new digital experiences

  • Maintain Jusoor’s internal directory, and expand on it to become a crucial data center for the Jusoor team, and within departments

  • Establish good knowledge of the settings of department-specific platforms, like Mailchimp, Webflow, Google Sites, GoDaddy, Hosting platforms, Landing pages platforms, Canva, and more tools that may rise

  • Handle creation of webpages and experiences using Webflow

  • Setup and operate documents, sheets, forms, and presentations that require custom functions and automation

  • Lead the innovation in finding and establishing new tools and automation plugins that would further expand on the department's efforts and goals online


Digital Analytics

  • Establish and maintain the digital analytics of Jusoor’s digital platforms, to optimize performance and learn from the quarter digital reports

  • Know about Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and other tracking tools

  • Operate the use of heat map and other technologies that would help understand the user experience of our website


More Digital Knowledge (Experience in these is added value but not required)

  • Knowledge in operating Facebook’s Ads Manager, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads

  • Knowledge in creating custom audiences and lookalikes to further enhance the advertising efforts, getting higher engagement ranking, conversion ranking, and lower CTR and CPC

  • Knowledge in the creation of lead magnets

  • Knowledge in Domain DNS, Cloudflare, and hosting

  • Basic coding knowledge
