Jusoor (which means ‘bridges’ in Arabic) is an international NGO founded in 2011 with the mission of Investing in Syria’s Youth for a Better Tomorrow. The organization has become a leading global actor in educational and entrepreneurial programs for Syrian children and youth. The organization is known for its innovative approach to development challenges, high-velocity execution, and the strength of its global strategic partnerships and active volunteer base. 

We are a team of over 60 members from all over the world who work together to:

Provide primary and secondary education for children in our 5 education centers & schools in Lebanon
Offer scholarships for BA and MA students to pursue their education abroad,
Develop entrepreneurial training and opportunities for vulnerable host communities and Syrians in the MENA region

Required Skills and Experience

This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or entry level candidates seeking to contribute to the administration of a growing organization by undertaking a range of logistic, administrative, organizational and IT-related activities.

Experience Required

University degree in administration or other relevant areas. Demonstrated experience and qualification in relevant areas can be acceptable in absence of a university degree
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask
Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
Maintain high level of confidentiality at all levels of work
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and gender and cultural-sensitive behavior and attitudes
Access to a computer or laptop
Access to high-speed internet

Bonus points if…

Familiarity with Google apps such as Calendar, Docs and Sheets
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Knowledge of Slack, Boardable, and ClickUp
Nonprofit experience

Role Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Administration department is currently seeking support in the following areas:

Managing the google drive maintaining a clear and easy to navigate structure 
Manage and G-suite access for staff, consultants & volunteers
Maintain Guidestar, Charity Navigator, Charity Watch, Candid etc. profiles
Developing and maintaining a filing system
Organizing and scheduling internal and external appointments
Record and disseminate minutes of internal and external meetings
Keeping the organization’s calendars up to date & organized
Maintain an up-to-date info/contact List of all team and board members 
Act as an accounts executive for various platforms 
To assist with onboarding and offboarding members
To assist with coordination of event logistics
To assist in preparing agendas
To assist with update and maintain office policies and procedures
Act as back up for admin colleagues as per the administration job tasks list (including different administrative tasks)
Due to the value and unique nature of this role, you will receive 360-degree training and support from our Executive Assistant and the HR team on the skills needed to thrive in this role.
