Scholarship Program Manager
Sarah has eight years experience working in both formal and non-formal education. She has an M.A. in International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia University and a B.S. in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University. During her time at Columbia, Sarah conducted research with Palestinian refugee university scholarship students in Lebanon, highlighting their socio-academic experiences. Prior to pursuing her master’s, Sarah was a secondary school humanities teacher in New Jersey. After that she worked for two years at the Lebanese American University’s NYC Academic Center, facilitating global Model United Nations and Arabic Language programs. Most recently, Sarah spent three years teaching IBDP Global Politics and heading the humanities department at a secondary school in Beirut.
