Months after starting our program, the Startup Roadshow Wired Demo Day 2021 is here! More than 6,000 teams registered to join the Startup Roadshow this year. Teams participated in a boot camp, training which covered various business skills, 50 teams were selected for a 3 month incubator program, which included expert training, mentoring, meet the CEO sessions, founders cafe and direct business services worth $60,000! And here we are today, down to 13 teams on the final Demo Day, where the top 6 companies will receive cash prizes of $15,000 for first place, $10,000 for second place and $5,000 for third place winners.

Organized by Jusoor and SPARK, with the support of The Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), Startup Roadshow Wired supported entrepreneurs from Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, and Iraq over a nine month project reaching over 6,000 Syrian and host community entrepreneurs.

Ronaldo Mouchawar is a Syrian-American entrepreneur and a pioneer of e-commerce in the MENA region.He co-founded Souq.com Group and served as its CEO. He grew the company into the largest e- commerce retailer in the Arab world. Amazon acquired Souq.com for USD $580 million in 2017. Mouchawar currently serves as the Vice President of Amazon MENA, spearheading the business across the region and guided by four principles: customer obsession, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking.
