Ahmad Moussa

I am a doctor in internal medicine training at Tishreen University Hospital, passionate about clinical medicine, medical education, and global health research. Since 2019, I have collaborated on groundbreaking research initiatives, such as the Global Surg and the largest-ever collaborative COVID Surg, which was awarded the Guinness World Record for “the most authors in a single peer-reviewed academic paper”. I have also proudly volunteered for medical education teams in Syria and the UK, such as the MED Research Team and the Medschool Xtra where we conducted research on the UK level and this was featured in the prestigious ASME conference to inspire the future generations of medical professionals. This dedication was recognized and rewarded as I was awarded the Welcome Trust Global Health scholarship at the University of Southampton for the upcoming academic year 2023-2024. Such impactful projects fuel my passion for research and its potential to shape the future of medicine and I am enthusiastic about the journey ahead and all the opportunities to learn, grow, and make a difference.
