Hazar Sanyour

Hazar Naif Sanyour is from Damascus, Syria, and has been awarded the IIE Odyssey Scholarship by the Institute of International Education in 2023. She is a high school alumnus at Tuyoor Al Amal. She has a passion for reading and drawing, particularly historical and Japanese buildings. Throughout her academic career, she has maintained a high GPA. Besides academics, she is actively involved in several extracurricular activities, including the library club. Due to the circumstances surrounding the school, she has helped late students catch up on required lessons and demonstrated exceptional leadership skills by assisting in organizing celebrations, competitions, and meetings held by the secondary school.  Hazar Sanyour has also volunteered in various ways, such as organizing group lunches for orphaned children and their families and helping the elderly by providing recreational activities and support. She believes in giving back to the community and making a positive impact on the world. Hazar Sanyour aspires to obtain a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and study Astronomy and Space sciences. She is dedicated to achieving her goals and making a difference in her field of interest. Overall, Hazar Sanyour is a hardworking, talented, and driven individual who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to academics, leadership, and community service. She is sure to make a positive impact on any organization or community she chooses to be a part of in the future.
