Hello, I'm Yousef, a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who values every moment. I am a Syrian-Kurdish quadrilingual who started their MSc journey of Engineering Business Management at the University of Exeter in 2023. I earned my degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a GPA of 3.45 from Osmaniye Korkut Ata University during my 8-year journey as a refugee in Turkey. Passionate about volunteering, I actively contributed to over 8 refugee-focused organizations and student forums, focusing on teaching, mentoring, fundraising, and fieldwork. My diverse experience includes working in robotics, translation, and data entry. I also spent a year as a mentor at the Karam Foundation, conducting workshops on electronics and coding for youth refugees. Besides my engineering and business management pursuits at Exeter University, my two main future plans are to assist post-graduate Syrian refugees in finding job opportunities or starting their own businesses and to provide essential care and education for Syrian orphans. I'll achieve these goals through self-initiatives and partnerships with organizations sharing the same objectives.
