Volunteer in a Summer Program

Volunteers at Jusoor's Jurahiya Center

About The Project

The summer project is an island of joy for children where they play, learn life skills, find new friends, and have a blast. Throughout the years, many volunteers like you have come to our centers and have gained invaluable experience exploring a new culture, learning from our teachers, and designing summer programs for children. The camp is held in the Bekaa valley at two Jusoor premises. In the first week, you will join the orientation and training sessions. Our volunteers get the chance to focus on fieldwork, where they implement their proposed plans and activities under the supervision of our teachers.

Jusoor’s summer volunteer project is not just a three-week volunteer commitment, but the first step towards becoming a part of Jusoor’s family. Our passionate volunteers are deeply appreciated for their long-term commitment to promote Jusoor’s work in their home countries and act as our ambassadors in their respective communities.

Jusoor’s Summer Volunteer Project is a great way to contribute to mitigating the students’ education gaps, engaging and motivating them through fun classroom and outdoor activities. This is also a huge opportunity for volunteers to gain field experience, discover new cultures, and gain insight into the realities of the lives of refugees.

The camp is held in the Bekaa valley at two Jusoor premises. After a couple of days dedicated to orientation and training, volunteers will implement their already proposed plans and activities (such as arts and crafts , sports , peace-building , etc.), with the collaboration of our teachers and under the supervision of our admin team.

Jusoor’s Summer Volunteer Project is not just a three-week volunteer commitment, but the first step towards becoming a part of Jusoor’s family. We are looking for passionate individuals with a long-term commitment to promote Jusoor’s work in their home countries and act as our ambassadors in their respective communities.
