Anwar Aljundi

My academic background is as a pharmacist, an integral part of the public health approach. The wide health knowledge and expertise of a pharmacist make them an appropriate source for providing public health services in most public-private environments. Over the past seven years, I have built a career focused on healthcare and humanitarian efforts. From 2017 to 2023, I served as the Primary Health Care Coordinator for the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), managing health interventions and coordinating with international partners. I have also actively participated in numerous workshops and training sessions to enhance my skills in disaster management, public health, and community engagement. Seeing the importance of grants in the humanitarian field and any business, I worked as a Grants Coordinator at SARC, developing proposals and managing donor communications. My career aspiration is to expand my knowledge in public health to contribute to the humanitarian-development-peace nexus, helping to rehabilitate lost hopes and dignity within communities.
