Sidra Raslan

Sidra Raslan is a young Syrian woman determined to take part in making the world and her country a better place. She is currently studying for a master’s in Interdisciplinary Studies in Environmental, Economic, and Social Sustainability at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). She has a background in pharmacy and pharmaceutical chemistry, and 3 years of experience as a medical researcher and analyst in the digital health field. Sidra is passionate about societal betterment, self-development, and youth empowerment. She is currently co-leading a core team of 20 international youth with Initiatives of Change Switzerland to create annual international peace and trust-building conferences with a reach of 700 international registrations. She is constantly seeking opportunities and working on ‘being the change she wishes to see in the world’.
