Donate your Zakat al-Fitr with Jusoor!
Eid Mubarak to Jusoor’s community around the world who are celebrating. This Eid, we invite you to donate your Zakat al-Fitr to support the education of the displaced children in our centers in Lebanon. With over 2,500 students at our centers this year, your donation will help us continue to provide high-quality education to all our future Syrian leaders.
Syrian Diaspora at Jusoor’s UAE Annual Suhoor

This Ramadan, we welcomed members of the inspiring and successful Syrian diaspora community in Dubai for Jusoor’s Annual UAE Suhoor to raise awareness about Jusoor’s programs supporting Syrian children and youth around the world. We also took the gathering as an opportunity to introduce our new initiative, ‘Bridges to Syria,’ aiming to get our community deeply involved with Jusoor’s future intervention in education and vocational training inside Syria.
Teachers’ Training with Right to Play

March saw our collaboration with Right to Play coming to life with various teachers’ training sessions taking place at our centers. The interventions included sessions on enhancing students’ Arabic literacy skills using books and games, sessions on the importance of learning through play for intellectual development, and integrating social-emotional learning into the classroom. The sessions used advanced strategies with books, gamifying Arabic literacy, integrating multisensory activities, and building a rich classroom environment to maximize teachers’ engagement and learning.
Meet Youssef Kadro: Hopeful Future Programmer

“It was a great opportunity to learn how to code. I hope to use this skill to design a game or create something that might help me in the future,” Yousef al-Kadro, a Future Skills Project student, said. In its third iteration, the Future Skills Project took place from September 2024 to January 2025 in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, with 75 Syrian refugee students between the ages of 14 and 17. Generously supported by Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund, the project equips young Syrian refugees with 21st-century skills needed for the local and global job market in programming, critical thinking, and English language skills.
