Allaith Saleh

I grew up in Syria during the worst parts of the conflict, studying and spending my time under candlelight because the power was out most of the time inspired me to study and work hard so I could help achieve crisis resolution in my nation through diplomacy. As well as help develop alternative energy projects so that future generations of Syrian children don't have to grow up with the sound of shuttle shots and the darkness and cold of having no electricity in their homes. This is why I am majoring in Political Science and Engineering so that I can help achieve political resolutions in my country and work on the STEM side of things to create a better energy framework that protects the environment and powers our homes.
