Asmaa Shikh Rajab

Asmaa Shikh Rajab. A Syrian human rights advocate who graduated in Psychology in 2023. With over eight years of experience in civil society and NGOs, she has served as a Protection & Gender Coordinator and a freelance Safeguarding trainer. Asmaa led a team of 20 to support Syrian refugees in Lebanon and advocate for their rights through various projects focused on MHPSS, FPSS, women's empowerment, gender equality, and social cohesion. Besides that, Asmaa recognizes the importance of political science, which she plans to study for her Master’s degree at UAB in Barcelona. This advanced study will provide her with the knowledge, methods, and tools to advocate more effectively for Syria and refugees, raising awareness of political issues and human rights. Her goals include representing these groups in meetings, conferences, and other events, as well as engaging in research aimed at reshaping Syria's future and supporting vulnerable communities worldwide.
