Mahmoud Zahed Alzhoury

Mahmoud is a computer science scholar who began his BA journey MUBS in 2023 and is deeply rooted in community service, education, and research. He has served as a facilitator for Mosaik, a British NGO dedicated to increasing higher education attainment among refugees. He delivered the guidance program brought by Mosaik and fostered an environment for learning and growth. He also collaborated with UCL as a research assistant, enriching his research experience by examining the impact of conflict on the dignity of Syrian refugees in Bekaa. He volunteered with Maps, an NGO, where he took on multifaceted roles as a translator, data analyst, and distributor, demonstrating his versatility and commitment. He is committed to his altruistic path and strives to secure better educational opportunities for fellow refugees as he continues his educational journey.
