Oras AlMofregh
My name is Oras Al Mofregh. I was born in Damascus, Syria, in 2007. I lived in Syria until the age of 4, then traveled to Lebanon due to the start of the Syrian war. I continued my studies in Lebanon for 6 years. Afterward, we decided that traveling to Turkey would be better for my father's work and our education. Accordingly, in 2016, we traveled to Turkey, where I dedicated myself to mastering the language and immersing myself in the culture. It was an opportunity for me to focus on my education as well; therefore, I consistently worked diligently to maintain strong academic performance. This opportunity opened the door to another life-changing one: going to UWC.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have a passion for playing the guitar and piano. Music has always been an important part of my life, giving me a way to express my feelings as well as its a huge source of joy.
Studying in a multicultural environment has been my goal for as long as I can remember. I am excited and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to study architecture in the future. The prospect of delving into the complexities and wonders of this fascinating field gives me a strong sense of purpose. I look forward to exploring the theories, principles, and applications that architecture encompasses.
