Disruptors Shake Amman & Istanbul at Bootcamps

Our latest Entrepreneurship program project kicks off with two consecutive weekend validation bootcamps

Jusoor’s latest entrepreneurship project ‘The Disruptors’, specifically tailored for high-potential tech startups, aiming to expedite their path to becoming investable startups, kicked off in June with two bootcamps in Istanbul and Amman.

The three-day bootcamps were run by expert trainer Tamer ElMasry, an Endeavor Entrepreneur, venture builder, and co-founder of the first Arab pop culture clothing brand Jobedu. They brought together carefully selected entrepreneurs from all over the region based in Türkiye and Jordan.

The sessions included brand positioning, customer validation, competitive analysis and business development.

“These three days brought me back to my university days. I got a lot from those three days such as knowing your customers and their needs deeply, how to assess my competitors,” Mohamad Aldris, cofounder of Idea Expert, which provides e-voucher solutions for NGOs operating in Northern Syria to help them organize aid to the region, minimize cost and operation logistics says. “I got a lot from my conversations with Tamer, the trainer, and the team as well in the breaks.”

Next, the best-performing startups will move on to the online incubation phase of the Disruptors project, where startups are nurtured on scalability, financial management, legal affairs, and effective networking, supported by weekly training, one-on-one expert sessions, and design development services. A distinctive feature is the 'Meet the CEO' sessions, offering direct insights from successful leaders and entrepreneurs.

The journey culminates in an in-person Demo Day and networking event, where top startups pitch to a panel of judges, investors, and accelerators, competing for a total of $22,000 seed money prizes split among the top three performers, incentivizing excellence and innovation.
